About the Vienna City Marathon print
The Vienna City Marathon starts at the Vienna International Centre and crosses the Reichsbrücke. It runs along the Ringstraße to the State Opera and out to Schönbrunn Palace before finishing at Heldenplatz. As a point-to-point course, it gives the poster a line with a clear beginning and end. The print traces that whole journey across the city in one line.
First held on 25 March 1984, it is now Austria's largest road running event. The GPX trace for 2026 records about 160 m of climbing. It makes a fine reminder of a spring marathon in the Austrian capital. Add your race date and finish time, and the print captures your own 26.2 miles through Vienna.
