About the Amsterdam Marathon print
The Amsterdam Marathon starts and finishes in the 1928 Olympic Stadium. Along the way the route passes under the Rijksmuseum, follows the Amstel and runs through Vondelpark, giving the poster a loop that reaches out along the river and back into the city. River, museum quarter and park are joined by one continuous line.
Held since 1975 and a World Athletics Platinum Label race, Amsterdam's men's course record is 2:03:31, set by Geoffrey Toroitich in 2025. Our trace of the 2026 course shows about 80 m of climbing, so it is largely flat. Personalise it with your race date and finish time and the print is about one runner in particular: you.
