Shakespeare Marathon
About the Shakespeare Marathon print
The Shakespeare Marathon is a two-lap course from Stratford-upon-Avon. It passes through Luddington and Welford-on-Avon and uses the Stratford Greenway towards Long Marston, so the line on your poster reaches out from the town into the Warwickshire villages around it. Running it twice means meeting each stretch again with more miles in your legs.
Our trace of the 2024 course records about 170 m of climbing over 26.2 miles. Add your race date and finish time, and the print becomes a record of your own marathon: both laps, the villages and the Greenway, every one of the 26.2 miles and the finish you spent months of training to reach.
