Very. There are three big climbs: up the Llanberis Pass to Pen-y-Pass, out of Beddgelert past Rhyd Ddu, and out of Waunfawr late in the race. In all, the course climbs 840 m.

About the Marathon Eryri print
Marathon Eryri, long known as the Snowdonia Marathon, is one of Britain's toughest and most scenic road marathons: a full loop of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). It starts just outside Llanberis, climbs the Llanberis Pass to Pen-y-Pass, drops to Beddgelert, climbs again past Rhyd Ddu to Waunfawr and saves one last climb for the end, before the steep descent to the finish in Llanberis. That's 840 m of climbing, and every metre of it earned.
