About the NYC Half Marathon print
The NYC Half Marathon links two of New York's great parks. It starts in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, with the start line on Washington Ave, and finishes in Central Park. Between them the course crosses into Manhattan and takes in some of the city's most recognisable streets, giving the route poster a line that feels like a tour of New York.
Landmarks along the way include the FDR Drive, 42nd Street and Times Square. First held on 27 August 2006, the race had 24,745 finishers in 2023. Our trace records about 100 m of climbing over the 13.1 miles, across a route that covers a great deal of ground in two boroughs.
