About the Arthur's Seat print
Arthur's Seat is the summit of an extinct volcano in Holyrood Park, a short walk from the Royal Mile. This circuit starts by the Palace of Holyroodhouse and follows the paths below the cliffs of Salisbury Crags before climbing to the summit, at 251 m, with views over the city, the Firth of Forth and the Pentland Hills.
The way down passes Dunsapie Loch, then turns back past the ruins of St Anthony's Chapel and St Margaret's Loch to Holyrood. The loop is about 4.8 km. Add the date of your walk, and the print keeps your own climb of Edinburgh's hill.
