The Great Scottish Run Half Marathon starts on St Vincent Street in the centre of Glasgow and crosses the Clyde on the Kingston Bridge. South of the river it passes Bellahouston Park and loops around Pollok Country Park, which gives the route on your poster its widest sweep before it turns back towards the city.
The course climbs for much of the stretch between miles 2 and 8, then runs largely downhill from mile 8 to the finish; our trace of the 2025 course records about 90 m of climbing in all.
