About the Catbells print
Catbells is one of the best-loved fells in the Lake District, a short, steep climb with a big view. The path starts at Hawes End, on the western shore of Derwentwater, and climbs the north ridge in a series of rocky steps.
The ridge leads over a first top to the summit, at 451 m, looking down over Derwentwater to Keswick and Skiddaw. It is about 2.4 km each way. The ready-made route runs one way, from Hawes End to the summit. Add the date of your walk, and the print keeps your own climb of Catbells.
