How hard is the climb on Marseille-Cassis?
The Route de la Gineste climbs about 300 m in hairpins to the Col de la Gineste, at about 327 m, and the rest of the course is mostly downhill to Cassis.

About the Marseille-Cassis print
Marseille-Cassis starts on the Boulevard Michel beside the Vélodrome stadium and runs south through Mazargues and past the Luminy campus to the foot of the Route de la Gineste. From there the road climbs in hairpins through the hills of the Calanques National Park to the Col de la Gineste, at about 327 m.
The second half drops almost all the way to the sea, with the bay of Cassis below, and finishes in the town after 20 km. The race has been run each autumn since 1979. On a poster, the route makes a single line from the city to the coast. Add your race date and finish time, and the print keeps your own run over the Gineste.
