All questionsWhere does the Chicago Half Marathon start and finish?
Both are in Jackson Park on Chicago's South Side, close to the Museum of Science and Industry.
Is the Chicago Half Marathon course flat?
Yes. After a loop of Jackson Park the course runs out and back along Lake Shore Drive beside Lake Michigan, with almost no climbing.
Does the Chicago Half Marathon use Lake Shore Drive?
Yes. Most of the race is run on Lake Shore Drive, which is closed to traffic for the morning, heading north towards the city and back.
Can I include my race date and finish time?
Yes. Add your race date, finish time and title to make the print a personal record of your run.
Which course will my print use?
The ready-made route is the 2025 course. For a different year or the exact activity you recorded, use your own Strava activity or GPX.
What sizes can I choose?
Choose 30 × 40 cm (about 12 × 16 in) or 50 × 70 cm (about 20 × 28 in). Both are printed on 200gsm premium matte paper.
Is a frame included?
You can add a ready-to-hang wooden frame in black, white, natural or dark wood when you order. It arrives with the print already fitted. Or order the print on its own to frame it yourself.
How long does delivery take?

About the Chicago Half Marathon print
The Chicago Half Marathon starts and finishes in Jackson Park on the South Side, beside the Museum of Science and Industry. The first miles circle the park, then the course turns onto Lake Shore Drive and runs north along Lake Michigan with the city skyline ahead, before turning for home and coming back the same way.
It is one of the few days in the year when runners have Lake Shore Drive to themselves, and the course is almost completely flat. On a poster the route makes a slim line pressed against the lakeshore, with the small loop of Jackson Park at its foot. Add your race date and finish time, and it becomes a record of your own 13.1 miles beside the lake.
