L'Étape du Tour lets amateur riders take on a stage of the Tour de France on closed roads, a few days before the professionals. The 2026 edition starts in Le Bourg-d'Oisans and climbs the Col du Glandon and the Col de la Croix de Fer, then the Col du Télégraphe and the Col du Galibier, at 2,642 m the high point of the day.
The route covers 170 km with about 5,400 m of climbing and finishes at the top of Alpe d'Huez, after its 21 hairpin bends. It is held each July. Add your race date and finish time, and the print keeps your own Tour de France stage.
